Prof. Ju. Komarek (1960) in his book "Lovy v Karpatech" has described an observation of a group of Black Vultures in the east part of present Transcarpathian region. According to his data this species was occurred on high mountain pastures in July - August in the beginning of XX cent. It vagranted from the south. [Russian].
