Study of the Icterine Warbler in Bulgaria. - D.N. Nankinov. - Berkut. 8 (1). 1999. - P. 71-77.
South border of the breeding range of Icterine Warbler goes through Bulgaria. It nests in separate areas in whole territory of the country at altitude up to 1200 m a.s.l. The warbler is the most numerous in north-east of Bulgaria. In spring it arrives on average on 10.05. The most intensive migration goes in the second half of May. Breeding period makes 83 days. The autumn migration of the Icterine Warblers cross the territory of Bulgaria starts in the end of July. It generally stays for 204 days in the country. The number fluctuates considerably during seasons and years. [English].
