On base of the analysis of literature and results of field research total 14 species of birds from these 6 orders were registered in Saratov region in 1871–2002. From them 12 species are breeding and 2 – vagrant. Rock Dove, Swift and Bee-eater are the most numerous species. Very rare visitors to Saratov region – Pallas’ Sandgrouse and Oriental Cuckoo. Data about distribution and ecology of all 14 species are presented. [Russian].
