Some results of marking of White-tailed Eagle on the Chornobyl exclusion

A nest of White-tailed Eagle with one nestling has been found in 4 km south-west
to Chornobyl Station in 2003. The nestling (1.5 month old) was marked by individual
ring and banded by satellite radio-transmitter. Due to technical support of
NASA and USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center (USA) moving of the bird has
been tracking over 3 months. Two other breeding areas of the eagle were found
in the Chornobyl zone. [Ukrainian].
