Breeding sites of the Long-legged Buzzard in Ukraine are known in steppes and forest-steppe zone. In southern part of the forest zone a nest with 5 eggs was found in Kyiv region on 7.05.2005. Expansion of the species to the North is confirmed also by records during the spring migration in northern part of Kyiv region. [Russian].
