Data were collected in 8 regions of West Ukraine in 1989-1991. Own observation and materials of the questionnary were used. Number of the Swallow in West Ukraine is estimated in about 2 millions breeding pairs. Arrival dates, nest placing and death causes are analysed. [Ukrainian].
