Observations at a Little Ringed Plover pair during the incubation. - E.A. Lebed. - Berkut. 2. 1993. - P. 28-30.
Observations were carried out in Vakalovshchyna village (Sumy Region) in June 1990. The nest was placed on the bottom of the released pond. The density of brooding reached 94,1 % in the beginning of the incubation period. The participation part in the brooding is 45 % for female and 55 % for male (tab.). During 18 hours of the continuous observations the active feeding of the male lasted total 257 minutes, the female - 203 minutes. The behaviour of the birds is described. [Russian].
