A comparison of data from publications of L.A. Portenko (1928а, 1928б) and museum collected specimens demonstrated, that the articles concern not only the Lesser Spotted Eagle but the Greater Spotted Eagle as well. It is concluded that distribution of the Greater Spotted Eagle in Forest-Steppe Zone of Right-bank Ukraine in the beginning of XXth century was broader than it has been thought. [Russian].
